Aleksandra Blinnikka continues to dominate the Worlds in Blanes

Aleksandra is unstoppable having won all the races in the championship and over in the men’s fleet Joao Rodrigues extends his lead over Curro Manchon.
Late, but, as predicted by the meteorologist, the competitors had some great conditions in Blanes with wind reaching 15 knots in the final race of the day.

Six races have been sailed so far and the sailors could discard their worst result after today. Aleksandra Blinnikka seems ready to take the Raceboard World title in Blanes as she hasn’t lost a single race yet., She already has a 9 point lead over her French rival Viviane Ventrin and 11 points over the third Ilona Grinberga of Latvia.

In the men’s fleet Portuguese Joao Rodrigues dominates the classification with Curro Manchón fighting for the top spot. Pedro Pascual, in third place, also seems to be in the fight for the podium. As the event is not over yet still a lot can happen on those top spots.

Tomorrow we go into the second half of the competition. So far we are on schedule and hopefully the next days can also deliver.

Tonight the organisers have provided a ham party for all sailors to taste "Joselito" ham of "El Tall + Porcus" that followed by a paella and party that will begin after 9:00 pm.
